Welcome to the HBSM 2015 conference in Tartu, Estonia!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 12th International Conference on Hole Burning, Single Molecule and Related Spectroscopies: Science and Applications, which will be held at the Institute of Physics of the University of Tartu on August 24–27, 2015.
The conference is organized by the Estonian Physical Society in collaboration with the Institute of Physics and theInstitute of Chemistry from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Tartu, and the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics from Tallinn.
The origin of the Conference can be traced back to the discovery of zero-phonon lines in organic solids and of persistent spectral hole burning in such materials (1974). Since the first seminal meeting in Estonia (1987), the Conference was held in California, Switzerland, Japan, Minnesota, France, Taiwan, Montana, France, Australia and Germany. The Conference has brought together participants from all over the world to discuss the latest developments in the fundamental science and the applications of site-selective and single-molecule spectroscopy and related topics.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Tartu!
